Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Ornament Exchange Received!
So told you about the Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko ornament that I created (see it here) whose recipient is different than the person you receive from. Well this is the very cool one I received.
The only thing that was inside with it was John Creighton Peterson's business card, so I guess he had a hand in making it! Thanks so much John. See you at CHA!It arrived flat and then fanned out.
So pretty!
Basket of Snowflakes Gift Tag
Here is a little gift tag. I was working on some mind-numbing computer thing and this came out when my hands were free! Of course I had to be at the computer to cut the digital files! (I think they were cutting as I was doing something else...)
The tag is the new Basket of Snowflakes available at the Silhouette Online Store.
Here are the thumbnail links to the products. The bow is ribbon from my personal stash.
Thanks for having a look today!

The basket of snowflakes was enlarged a bit, but it probably didn't have to be. Stick with a solid light colour when cutting the basket if you don't want to fuss with an additional "insert" that can be written on.

Season's Greetings
I've been wanting to squeeze in some time to play with the Spellbinders Gold Elements on a Christmas card. Here is what evolved.
Sorry, I didn't do so well getting the embossing to show up, but you can see it a bit better in the detail photos below.
This was really very simple and you can embellish it with anything you like.
Happy creating!
Thanks for dropping by.

You just have to use stamp your sentiment, lay your rings around the sentiment and use Removable tape to hold the rings in place. Run it through your Grand Calibur, trim the cardstock and back it with a contrasting colour and that's about it. Embellish with what you have!

All Hearts Come Home for Christmas
I just adore these little dresses! I made this card many months ago and I'm so glad I didn't forget it! One of the cards that I made for the current issue of Paper Creations Magazine used hand-dyed wool felt for a poinsettia and the felt was still out.... so.....
All of the dresses were cut from hand-dyed felt (no, I did not do the felting or dyeing!). It seems like a little bit of everything went on this card. How you change these little dresses - well, the possibilities are endless! I think they'll be little spring dresses next.
Here are some close-ups. I used the little Spellbinders Holly Accents ornament (S5-056 - Quietfire is sold out of this die, so please go directly to Spellbinders) as sort of a hanger for each dress. The "trim" on the middle dress is Snow-Tex. The brass charms are embellished with 4-Ply Waxed Linen Thread in Olive, White and Country Red.
Hmmm, I think this card is a keeper!
Thanks for having a look! I hope all your hearts are home for a warm and loving Christmas.

Those We Love - Tag
Here is a tag/ornament using #Quietfire stamps with a bit of a grungy feel!
I used manilla for the whole project - because I hardly ever do and it was high time! {Note: product links are at the bottom of this post} I used the Tim Holtz On The Edge Snowflake die to add a border to the tag and coloured it by blending Distress Stains (Bundled Sage, Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky). I wanted some interest and texture on the tag, so spread Dreamweaver Translucent Embossing Paste on the tag and then pressed the Spellbinders M-Bossibilities Holiday Magic EL-014 into the paste. The embossing folder was quickly cleaned in the sink before the embossing paste turned to cement in every cranny!
After the embossing paste was dry, the tag was spritzed with water and then the same Distress Stains were used again. Before the tag dried, grains of Walnut Ink were scattered over the surface and allowed to "melt". I love all the hit and miss partially formed shapes.
Those We Love are the Snowflakes was stamped with the aid of a Stamp Positioner using Versamagic Night Sky.
The tag elements were assembled as shown in the photos using Be Creative Tape and Pop Dots - after Snow-Tex was applied with a spatula.
Thanks for having a look!
